Continued Commitment to Quality and Service

Serving the Aerospace Industry since 1984

Although JEVAC has expanded production facilities substantially since 1984, and gross sales have increased every year, JEVAC's simple business philosophy and objectives remain the same.
Today, JEVAC incorporates the full potential of people, technology, quality, and service to better serve the needs of the industry.  Customers know they can depend on JEVAC to deliver the best in precision-machined components on schedule.
JEVAC is committed to meeting customer requirements and increasing customer satisfaction through continual improvement of it’s finished products, services, and the quality management system.

CNC Machining

With only one vertical machine center and two employees, Jimmy Cheatham established JEVAC Machine, Inc., and opened for business in February 1984.
The subsequent success of JEVAC drove the need for expansions in 1986 and 1989.  This growth allowed for the installation of the latest, state-of-the-art equipment and the employment of an additional complement of skilled personnel to enhance the company's commitment to quality and service.
In 1986, Craig Cheatham joined his father in the operation of JEVAC.

The Vision

The Company

Several years ago, Jimmy Cheatham realized the potential of America's growing aircraft and aerospace industries.  He was convinced of a need for independent manufactures to supply the industry's increasing demand for reliable hardware components.
With this concept in mind, Mr. Cheatham formulated a business and operations plan with one simple objective: to provide high quality machine parts to the aircraft and aerospace industries — parts that meet or exceed the strict specifications demanded, on time and on budget.

Continued Growth

In 1993, JEVAC installed a CNC twin-spindle, automatic pallet-loading machine in a new building addition to the plant.  Only two days after the completion of these new facilities, the main plant and the twin-spindle machine were completely destroyed by fire.
After the disastrous fire, the Cheathams resolved to rebuild JEVAC.  This was accomplished in short order with the construction of a new plant equipped with all new equipment.
A production control system (Vista by Epicor®) was added in 1996 to ensure production efficiency & quality.   In 1999, the plant building was further expanded and new CNC equipment installed to increase JEVAC's capabilities.
